Ohio State Football: Michael Thomas explodes in Week 5
Gareon Conley | 2 Tackles, 1 INT, 1 Pass Defended
Unfortunately, the most memorable highlight of the season for Conley up to this point was the neck injury scare that he had in week one against the Broncos. That is no longer the case.
While Conley didn’t rack up the stats against the Bears in Week 5, he had the biggest play of the game when he made the game sealing interception with 1:18 left to go in the fourth quarter.
It was a terrible pass from Chase Daniel but Conley found himself in the right place at the right time and picked off the backup quarterback to win the game.
It was a rather surprising result for the Raiders, and while top receiver Allen Robinson had a fantastic second half Conley and the Raiders secondary were able to do just enough to pull out the victory.
