CL:

I see Michigan State coming out strong especially on defense. Mark Dantonio’s teams don’t back down from anybody.

I’m sure the head coach and his defensive staff will have a scheme, and possibly a new wrinkle, to slow down the high-powered Ohio State offense for a while. However, I see Ryan Day and his offensive coaches figuring it out and the Buckeyes will begin moving the football.

More from Ohio State Football

The Ohio State defense will try to take away the running game to make the Michigan State offense one-dimensional. If that happens, Brian Lewerke is in for a rough day.

Chase Young and his buddies on the defensive line will be flying around the Spartan quarterback all game. That will result in sacks and quarterback hurries, and the Buckeye defensive backs will make him pay for those.

I just can’t see many points put up against this year’s group of Silver Bullets. I think once things get figured out on offense the Ohio State line, and the backs, will wear down the Michigan State defense.

The Buckeyes will eventually pull away but I think Ryan day may have to settle for more field goals than he would like. With that said, I have Ohio State winning 37-13.
