Ohio State Football: Picking against the spread Week 6
There are two big conference games on tap in Week 6. Ohio State hosts Michigan State and Auburn travels to Gainesville to play Florida.
After taking time off picking against the spread of games involving Top 10 teams I was 5-2 in Week 5. Of course I picked the Ohio State game incorrectly which has too often been the case.
Let’s see how I do with my Week 6 picks.
Georgia (3) by 25.5 over Tennessee: You would think Tennessee could at least make Georgia earn a two or three touchdown win. I’ll take the Vols and the points.
Ohio State (4) by 21 over Michigan State (25): Michigan State has a history of battling Ohio State and pulling off big upsets. It may be a battle early but I can’t see how the Spartans can score many points against the Buckeye defense.
I see the Ohio State offense wearing down Michigan State’s defense and putting up enough points to win by more than three touchdowns.
LSU (5) by 28 over Utah State: I have been following Joe Burrow since his senior year in high school at Athens, Ohio which is an hour from here and I was sure he would be a good college quarterback. However, the season he is having certainly wasn’t expected.

The LSU offense has been putting up numbers and will against Utah State. I’ll take the Tigers to cover.
Oklahoma (6) by 34 ove Kansas: Kansas is playing better football but hasn’t faced a high-powered offense like Oklahoma’s. I’ll take the Sooners and lay the points.
Auburn (7) by 3 over Florida (10): I can’t figure out who will win so I’ll take the home team and the points.
Wisconsin (8) by 36 over Kent State: I don’t see how Kent State will score against Wisconsin. I hate to lay this many points but will.
Notre Dame (9) by 46 over Bowling Green: I can’t believe this line. I’ll take Bowling Green and the points.
There you have it my Week 6 picks against the spread of games involving Top 10 teams. I hope stay on a bit of a roll and build on my 10-5 record.
