Marshon Lattimore | 4 Tackles, 2 Passes Defended

One of the best corners in the NFL, Lattimore doesn’t get talked about enough. He locks down, yeah you guessed it, a Saints secondary that held the Cowboys to just 10 points this past weekend in a big win.

Lattimore’s stats aren’t going to wow you that much, but all you have to do is look at what Amari Cooper did on the night to see the impact that Lattimore had on the team.

Cooper caught five-of-eight targets for 48 yards and no touchdowns in the showdown with Lattimore. His longest catch of the day was just 14 yards.

This was much to the dismay of my fantasy team but it was great for Lattimore and the Saints.

Lattimore has gotten a bad rep over the past season of shrinking against the league’s top receivers. That wasn’t the case on Sunday night as Lattimore shined on national television, showing everyone his capability to be a true shutdown corner.

Now for another Buckeye on the Saints who performs well nearly every week.
