It was a rather slow week for Ohio State Buckeyes in the NFL in Week 4, especially on defense. Still, there were plenty of players who made their name known.

Most Ohio State fans know the New Orleans Saints are filled with Buckeyes all over their roster. The secondary in particular is made up of 75% of former Ohio State players, and one that held the Cowboys to just 212 yards passing Sunday night.

As you might imagine, their will be plenty of Saints players making the top NFL Buckeye performers for week 4. Let’s get into those players who played the best for their teams this week

Vonn Bell | 10 Tackles, 1 Pass Defended, 1 Forced Fumble, 2 Fumble Recoveries

The first Saint to make the list, Bell makes the top performers list for the second straight week after taking a fumble back for a touchdown last week.

This week, Bell was great against the Cowboys as he led all Saints defenders with 10 Tackles on the night. He also had a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.

Bell continues to be a consistent performer for a Saints defense that has been asked to step up after Drew Brees went down with an injury. They have stepped up and then some allowing an average of just 18 points over their last two games, which both resulted in wins.

We all knew Bell had the talent to succeed at the next level, so it’s nice to see that he is playing well for the Saints.
