No. 4:  Ohio State Buckeyes

In a growing trend, the Buckeyes are becoming the consensus No. 1 team in the country based on obliterating their first five opponents without remorse. This Ohio State team is the most complete and balanced team in college football right now.

The Buckeyes have taken care of business for sixty minutes each week without looking back.

Ryan Day has his group firing on all cylinders playing with an edge that team’s can’t seem to find an answer for, let alone conquer. They force turnovers, run the back well, have elite receivers, the offensive and defensive lines get great push, and they tackle well and play assignment football. What’s not to love?

Ohio State feels like a special team and the scary part is that they are only going to get better. The Justin Fields and JK Dobbins tandem has been sensational. The offense has so many ways to beat you they’re nearly impossible to defend.

Keep your eyes on Columbus.

No. 3:  Georgia Bulldogs

Jake Fromm led the Bulldogs to a resume boosting victory at home last week. Georgia has looked like it is among the best teams in the nation so far, but I’m not quite sold on them.

The SEC East won’t be competitive…again, so the Bulldogs must be a contender as they’ll cruise to Atlanta.

I would like to see more through the air from Jake Fromm and Kirby Smart continue to improve his game management on the big stage which he has done. This is one of the most talented teams and can run with anyone, but will the Dawgs have enough to finally take down Alabama?

Or will it be LSU standing in their way?
