CL:

Our boys make great points but are just too young to get it. Playing in Memorial Stadium will be quite a challenge as always but even more so than in past years.

It’s not just a night game but the featured game of the week. The stadium will be packed with fans who have been tailgating all day and I’m sure alcohol will be involved in the pre-game fun.

If Nebraska gets ahead early by 7-14 points the stadium will be rocking so hard it will probably register on the seismic meter somewhere.

Justin Fields, the wide receivers and the offensive line have performed well so far this season but this will be their first venture into the kind of atmosphere they will be exposed to. I see communication issues and false starts early that will hold the Buckeye offense back in the first half.

It will be up to the defense to slow down QB Adrian Martinez and the Cornhusker offense until Ryan Day and his assistants get things settled. I think they will at halftime and Ohio State will begin to pull away, somewhat.

I have the Buckeyes defeating the Cornhuskers 34-17.
