#10 Utah at USC (Friday Night)

Line: UTAH -4.0

Utah (3-0) was a preseason Cinderella favorite to find a spot in the College Football Playoff, and they’ve done nothing to disprove those expectations thus far. However, against a tough Trojans (2-1, 1-0 Pac-12) squad, the Utes will have their hands full against a team that has a lot to prove after faltering against BYU last Saturday.

#16 Oregon at Stanford

Line: ORE -11.0

More from Ohio State Football

Oregon (2-1) started the season with a tough loss against Auburn, but are by no means out of the playoff race. Even though the Cardinal are 1-2 (0-1 Pac-12), they still pose a threat to the Ducks who will have to win out to stay in the race.

This game has produced some excellent quarterbacks (John Elway and Andrew Luck for Stanford, Dan Fouts and Marcus Mariota for Oregon). It will be interesting to see if NFL prospect Justin Herbert can join that group against a physical Cardinal defense that will hope to play like they did against Northwestern (7 points).

Oklahoma State at #12 Texas

Line: TEX -6.0

The Cowboys (3-0) head into Austin to face a Longhorns (2-1) team that is two weeks removed from a tough loss against the LSU Tigers. If Texas hopes to keep any playoff hopes alive, the Longhorns will need to win out. However, the Cowboys (who play only two other ranked opponents after this game) will have something to say about that, as they have started out undefeated and would skyrocket right into the playoff race with a win.

Week 4 kicks off with a ranked match-up at noon. Once the Buckeyes are up by 30+ in the third quarter, a channel flip will give two more games that have a major impact on the College Football Playoff.
