The Ohio State Buckeyes passed their first away test Saturday when they visited  Indiana University Memorial Stadium to take on the Hoosiers.

The game did not start off good for Ohio State as Blake Haubeil missed a 32 yard field goal.  The Buckeyes would however come back their next offensive possession with completions to Chris Olave and KJ Hill.  Justin Fields would then take it in himself from three yards out putting the Buckeyes up 7-0.

Fields would then go 14 of 24 throwing for 199 yards and three touchdowns.  The first passing touchdown was to Chris Olave in the second, a nine yard touchdown to KJ Hill and a four yard pass to JK Dobbins in the third.

Despite the kicking game having a little bit of trouble early on, the punt pressure played a major role as Olave blocked an Indiana punt which led to a safety making it at 16-0.

Dobbins had a great day rushing with 22 carries for 193 yards and a touchdown.  Master Teague was the second back who put up over 100 yards on the ground. Teague had 10 carries for 106 yards and scored one touchdown.

Starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr for the Hoosiers was ruled out due to injury so former starter Peyton Ramsey replaced him this game.  The only thing the Hoosiers would get were two scoring drives.

One was a Logan Justus 29 yard field goal. The second was a trick play where Ramsey threw the ball to wide receiver Donovan Hale who would then find tight end Peyton Hendershot for a 49 yard touchdown before the half ended.

The Buckeyes would pull away in the second half however as they would win their first road game this season 51-10.

According to ESPN, the Buckeyes 41 point margin was the largest against the Hoosiers since 2006 and was one of the biggest one-sided games dating back to 1901.  The Buckeyes have also won 24 straight against Indiana.

The last time the Hoosiers beat the Buckeyes was October 8, 1988. Indiana won 41-7 in what was one of the worst years of Ohio State football.  (Ohio State finished 4-6-1). (Indiana finished 8-3-1).
