Ohio State cornerback Jeffrey Okudah with a couple of years experience under his belt is prime to have a big season in 2019.

Jeff Okudah was the No. 1 cornerback in the 2017 recruiting class. His career so far at Ohio State has not been a disappointing one as he is in the race to be one of the top cornerbacks in the nation for the upcoming 2019 season, fulfilling the high expectations everyone had for him as a recruit.

Okudah has played in 27 games, has 53 tackles, nine passes defended and two fumbles recoveries.  According to the official Ohio State Football Site, his best game was against Washington in the Rose Bowl where he had five tackles and two pass breakups.

The website also reports that he tied Kendall Sheffield on the team with eight pass breakups on the season. Okudah also had the honor in 2017 winning the OSU-Scholar Athlete award according to the official Ohio State football website and is majoring in Communications.

During the upcoming 2019 season, Jeffery Okudah will have a breakout year. According to ourlads.com, Okudah is the starter as of now at cornerback.

He may have had a good 2018 season, but there was one thing missing.  That one thing was an interception.

Okudah, in my opinion, is going to have two to four interceptions on the season, start all games without getting injured, have two to three forced fumbles and about 20-30 tackles.  Look for him to have a great year in the classroom as well as he might just get another academic award.

Okudah is a talented player looking to have a breakout 2019 season and every Ohio State fan is hoping this is his year.  If everything happens the way it’s supposed to on defense, then this should be Okudah’s year.

It should be very interesting watching him this season which may be his last before heading to the NFL.

Next. 3 wishes for August camp. dark
