Ohio State Football: 2019 CFB season predictions
Ohio State 31, Alabama 23
2019 CFP National Championship Game:
#1 Clemson Tigers (14-0, 8-0 ACC) vs. #3 Ohio State Buckeyes (13-1, 7-1 Big Ten)
Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, LA
The last time the Buckeyes faced the Tigers, Ohio State suffered a defeat that most Buckeye fans try to forget. This time around, the game will be more competitive.
However, even with a Clemson defense that will be missing it’s front four from last season, the firepower of Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne and Tee Higgins will be too much, even for Chase Young and in spite of an impressive offensive performance from the Buckeyes.
The Tigers (15-0, 8-0 ACC) will establish themselves as the established dynasty of college football, winning their third title in four season, leaving Ryan Day’s Buckeyes (13-2, 7-1 Big Ten) feeling proud but disappointed after a phenomenal first full season at the helm.

Clemson 42, Ohio State 31
By the end of the 2019 season, Clemson will be the undisputed king of college football, with the Tigers taking the National Championship and the Heisman Trophy winner. Trevor Lawrence will prove (basically) everyone right and head into his junior year with two titles and the prestigious trophy with a promising NFL future to boot.
Clemson-Alabama V won’t happen this year, Ohio State will have an impressive season under Ryan Day, and the top five or six teams from the last few season will reign over college football once again.
But throughout the rest of college football, parity will still exist. And save for the top six teams, will leave fans satisfied with another amazing year of college football.
