An outstanding defensive lineman will make his college choice Saturday and hopefully he wants to join the 2020 Ohio State recruiting class.

The wait is almost over to find out if Darrion Henry will stay home and join the 2020 Ohio State recruiting class. According to Taylor Lehman of Eleven Warriors the outstanding defensive line prospect will announce his college choice this Saturday.

Henry is the ranked as the 11th best tackle and the No. 121 player in the country in the 247Sports Composite. He is listed at 6 ft. 4.5, 279 pounds and is extremely athletic.

He looks to be a player Larry Johnson could use at either the three technique tackle position or at strongside defensive end.

Check out these highlights and you will see why.

It’s not every day you see a recruit with Henry’s size, power, speed and athleticism.

Hopefully he will join his buddy Parris Johnson Jr. in the 2020 class. It has been widely reported the two friends would like to play their college ball together and I for one hope it’s for Ohio State .

Johnson is the top rated tackle in the class and No. 8 overall player. He has those of us who follow recruiting a little nervous though even though he committed to play for the Buckeyes some time ago.

He has continued to visit other schools since his commitment. Hopefully he just wanted to have some fun during the recruiting process and he’s solid on enrolling at Ohio State.

I would never blame a five-star recruit for wanting to visit the campus of a major football program. Can you imagine how they roll out the red carpet for a player like that?

I enjoyed it when a smaller program showed me love when I was in high school. Trust me, I wasn’t getting phone calls from Woody Hayes and Bear Bryant back then.

In fact, Woody looked to Texas for a QB in his 1975 recruiting class and brought in my buddy Rod Gerald when he could have had one from SE Ohio. So what if Rod had 4.3 speed in the 40 and was a high school star?

Next. Michael Thomas looks to become highest paid WR. dark

Anyway, Ryan Day is off to an outstanding start on the recruiting trail as his class is currently ranked No. 5 class in the country. Having Parris Johnson on board is a big reason for that lofty ranking. Hopefully his good friend Darrion Henry will join the class Saturday.
