One former Ohio State defensive lineman suffered yet another injury during a workout and one may have finally found a home.

Simply by judging talent and production there was no doubt Nick Bosa should have been chosen as the second pick of the first round by the San Francisco 49ers. However, there were some who doubted he could stay healthy.

After all, Bosa suffered injuries that ended both his high school and college careers.

It only took a short time in the NFL before the defensive end was on the sideline again, and it happened during an OTA. Is Bosa injury prone or just unfortunate?

That’s difficult to say because they were separate injuries.

In high school he injured a knee and at Ohio State it was a core muscle. Now apparently he has a pulled hamstring.

Hopefully these are just coincidences. You would hate to see a player with his talent not be able to stay on the field.

Now for the former Ohio State defensive tackle who was just picked up by the Miami Dolphins. Adolphus Washington has reportedly signed a one year deal wirh the Dolphins. He has had a bumpy road since he entered the NFL but hopefully heading south to Miami will give him a new lease on life.

Washington was drafted in the third round in 2016 by the Buffalo Bills. He had a nice rookie season registering 21 tackles with 4 for loss and 2.5 sacks. The following season he had 33 tackles and 6 TFLs.

Then things went sour.

The Bills cut Washington early last season. The Cincinnati Bengals picked him off the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad but he was injured a couple of months later and was let go this spring.

Possibly warm weather will do Washington some good.

I always hate when injuries shorten a player’s career. I hope that won’t be the case with either of these Buckeyes.
