Ohio State Football: More good news on the recruiting trail
The 2020 Ohio State recruiting class promises to be a good one but things have stalled lately. You can expect that to change, and possibly soon.
Things are heating up on the recruiting trail as a five-star running back included Ohio State in the final four teams he is considering playing for. According to Taylor Lehman of Eleven Warriors Kendall Milton has narrowed his choices to OSU, LSU, Georgia and Alabama.
Milton is from California and is the 3rd highest ranked running back in the country and the No. 21 player overall in the 247Sports Composite. Mr. Lehman mentioned other running back targets in his article and I think three in particular are players to keep your eye on. First a look at another RB who plays his high school football out west.
Bijan Robinson is from Tucson, Arizona and is the 5th highest ranked RB and the No. 25 player overall. His name keeps popping up and apparently he has a visit scheduled in June. Crystal Ball predictions have UCLA out in front to get Robinson but Ohio State is in the mix.

To get either Milton or Robinson to move east and play for the Buckeyes would be quite a coup for Ryan Day. The other two backs are Ohio recruits and should be on board, and soon.
DeaMonte Trayanum plays for Archbishop Hoban, is 6 ft. 215 pounds and ranked as the 24th best running back in the country according to the 247Sports Composite. Some think he may play linebacker in college though.
Coach Day should just make a strong push for this Ohio State lean and then find out which position suits him best.
This last back is an intriguing one.
Michael Drennen is 5 ft. 10, 187 pounds and is the No. 5 all-purpose back in the country. Oh yeah, he plays his high school football close to The Shoe for Dublin Coffman.
He is also a strong Ohio State lean and hopefully coach Day will hurry up and bring Drennen into the fold.
Ryan Day has extended offers to several other running backs as well but I have a feeling there is a good chance at least three of these players could join the 2020 Ohio State recruiting class.
