More from Ohio State Football

Were you expecting anyone else? Amazingly, Haskins wouldn’t even start this season as that role would go to senior J.T. Barrett.

But Haskins had the best performance of any Buckeye in a spring game in recent memory as he threw for 293 yards and 3 touchdowns. It was clear that Haskins had elite arm talent when we saw this masterful performance and much like Hooker, we were only able to see one season of an all-time great.

Who will be a spring game star this year? Will it be Justin Fields and / or Matthew Baldwin who are battling for the starting quarterback spot.

Possibly a young running back or wide receiver will be especially impressive. Or Demario McCall will reclaim the title as Mr. Spring now that he has been moved to running back.

It’s always fun to get a glimpse of future stars in the Ohio State Spring Game. If history is any indication, Buckeye fans could get an indication of which of those players will make an impact next fall.
