3. Braxton Miller | 2013

Braxton Miller’s junior spring game was by far his best as the returning star had 217 yards via the air as well as throwing for two scores and using his ever elusive feet to score his third touchdown of the afternoon. We all know what was to come for Miller in that 2013 season as he would lead the Buckeyes to an undefeated regular season before falling to Michigan State in the Big Ten title game.

2. Malik Hooker | 2016

Buckeye fans were only able to bear witness to one season with Malik Hooker roaming the defensive backfield but boy were we able to see an elite safety in that one season. Hooker started off that season with a bang in the spring game too as he recorded 10 tackles and 2 stunning interceptions, including a 85 yard pick six to start the game off.

Hooker remains in my mind one of the best defensive players to ever step on a field for the Buckeyes and it is a shame that we were only able to enjoy one year of his prowess.
