Ohio State Football: Best spring games in the last ten years
5. Demario McCall | 2018
McCall has had a few impressive spring game performances, but none was better than his 2018 performance when he had 11 catches for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns. McCall has never really been able to turn these spring games into viable results in the season though as he had limited playing time last year only amassing 110 receiving yards and 50 rushing yards in the season.
McCall will now head into his Junior season hoping to change that narrative and fit into his role with the team.
4. Joe Burrow | 2017
Joe Burrow is seen once again on this list as his 2017 outing was even better than last year’s as he threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns. It was a flashy show of quarterback play in then a fight for the second-string role with Dwayne Haskins.
It’s kind of scary to think about that 2017 quarterback roster as it included three starting caliber quarterbacks in J.T. Barrett, Dwayne Haskins and Burrow.
