LT: Thayer Munford (JR), Joshua Alabi (Rs. SR)

Munford is fresh off an impressive first season starting at Left Tackle and is a big reason why the Buckeyes ranked 3rd in the conference in sacks allowed. Munford has the potential to shoot up draft boards this fall and land on a preseason all Big 10 team. Alabi provides depth at both tackle spots and may find time as the starting RT.

LG: Gavin Cupp (Rs. JR), Brandon Bowen (Rs. SR)

Left guard is one of very few position battles to keep an eye on this spring. Gavin Cupp has provided depth in each of his first two seasons and Brandon Bowen has constantly ran into the injury bug but will have a chance to start as a senior.

C: Josh Myers (Rs. SOPH), Harry Miller (FROSH)

The Buckeyes will have to replace all-american Michael Jordan at center but that should be no issue as former 5-star recruits Josh Myers and Harry Miller will complete for the starting nod. Miller may be in line for a red-shirt but he may be needed to fill out the depth along the interior.

RG: Wyatt Davis (Rs. SOPH), Matthew Jones (Rs. FROSH)

Davis is another 5-star recruit on a very talented Buckeyes offensive front and should continue to develop after receiving ample playing time as a freshman. Matthew Jones is a former top 70 recruit who has the skills to be a starter on this unit and may windup finding time at LG, but for now is a depth filler.

RT: Nicholas Petite-Frere (SOPH), Max Wray (Rs. FROSH)

Petite-Frere was the 7th ranked recruit in the class of 2018 and will slide right into a starting role following the departure of Isiah Prince. It’s possible Joshua Alabi will battle with the Florida native for the starting RT spot but shortage of talent won’t be an issue for Ryan Day and his offensive staff.
