WR-X: Binjimen Victor (SR), Jaylen Harris (JR)

WR-Z: Austin Mack (SR), Chris Olave (SOPH)

Ryan Day will be tasked with replacing (statistically) 3 of his top 4 pass catchers from 2018, but returns a pair of very talented WRs in Binjimen Victory and Austin Mack. Mack struggled with constancy in 2018, and appeared in only 8 games due to an injury.

Although he only has 52 catches over three seasons, he has the opportunity to reach that total in 2019 as he will be a primary target in the passing game next season.

Jaylen Harris lacks experience but is 6 foot 5′ and talented. Chris Olave emerged in  the games against Michigan and Northwestern catching 7 passes for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns, and has the potential to have a huge season for the Buckeyes. 5-Star commit Garrett Wilson is highest rated WR recruit in school history and will be thrown into the mix early.

H-Back: KJ Hill (Rs. SR), Jaelen Gill (Rs. FROSH)

Following the Rose Bowl, KJ Hill pondered the idea of declaring for the NFL draft but is back to lead a pass catching group that features plenty of variety. Hill ranked 2nd on the team in receptions (68) and yards (865) while also catching 6 touchdowns.

Redshirt Freshman Jaelen Gill was the 2nd ranked All Purpose RB in the class of 2018. He fits the bill as a receiver-running back hybrid who can be used in various ways in Ryan Day’s system and should be an emerging play maker for OSU.

TE: Luke Farrell (JR), Rashod Berry (Rs. SR)

The Buckeyes don’t suffer any losses at tight end. They get Luke Farrell back who caught 20 passes for 205 yards and 1 score and senior Rashod Berry who is a suitable blocker for Ohio State.
