Maryland has been one of the hottest teams in the country and that continued in week 11 with victories over Wisconsin and Ohio State. This hot start to Big Ten play is largely due to the trio of Bruno Fernando, Anthony Cowan Jr., and Jalen Smith.

All of them can score the ball at will and the duo of Fernando and Smith down low have proved efficient as the Terrapins are currently 23rd in the nation in total rebounding. Maryland hopes to keep rolling starting with a tough one on Monday at Michigan State then traveling back home to play Illinois on Saturday.

After dropping the first three Big Ten games Iowa has come back with a bang and now has rattled off five wins a row in the conference, adding two more with victories over Penn State on Wednesday and Illinois on Sunday. The win on Sunday was an offensive explosion for the Hawkeyes as they put up 95 on the Illini and had three players score over 20 points in the game.

Ironically, their leading scorer Tyler Cook was not one of them. Freshman Joe Wieskamp was a perfect 6/6 from three in the game and led the Hawkeyes with 24 points. Iowa will have a tough time making it six wins in a row though as they take on Michigan State followed by Minnesota in week 12.
