- How adding two new teams to Big Ten affects Ohio State basketball
Penn State came close to garnering their first Big Ten win of the season but fell short to Nebraska by a score of 70-64. The Nittanly Lions did not come anywhere near defeating Michigan State on the road, and for that they are the first team to lose 6 games in Big Ten play.
Not exactly the achievement Penn State fans were looking for after winning the NIT last season.
Give the Fighting Illini credit, they fought hard against the Michigan Wolverines only losing by 10 on their home court. Trust me, against Michigan and with how their season has played out, that is a solid outing for Illinois.
But the Illini was still unable to get a win in week 10.
It will take an upset in week 11 for Illinois to get a win as they take on both Minnesota and Iowa.
