More from Ohio State Basketball

Rutgers may have had a bad week but Penn State had a terrible one as they lost twice to both Wisconsin and Michigan, and neither of them were relatively close. Sure, the Nittany Lions were able to keep it close with the Wolverines in the first half, but even in that game it never felt like they ever had a chance to win.

Against the Badgers it was a blowout from the start.

Penn State fell to 0-4 in the Big Ten and many fans are probably wishing they could have last year’s NIT winning team back.

Illinois shot better from three and out rebounded the Indiana Hoosiers on Thursday, but that still wasn’t enough to get the first conference win of the season. Freshman guard Ayo Dosunmu led the Illini in the loss, scoring 20 points in the game.

Then Illinois was so close to a victory yesterday against Northwestern but fell short on a late three pointer that sealed the game to give the Illini their 11th loss of the season, and the 4th loss in the Big Ten. Illinois just can’t seem to catch a break this season.
