Purdue, Penn State, Rutgers and Illinois

7-5 is not where Purdue wants to be at this point in the season but that is where they are at. However, the Boilermakers were able to end a 2-game skid with a blowout win over Ohio in week 7.

Standout and potential Big Ten player of the year, Carsen Edwards, scored 30 points in the crucial win for the Boilermakers. Purdue faces Belmont before taking on Iowa in the start of Big Ten play.

Penn State, Rutgers, and Illinois round out the basement of the Big Ten as both Penn State and Rutgers enter week 8 with just 6 wins and Illinois is still the only Big Ten team with a losing record at 4-8.
