Ohio State Basketball: Week 5 Big Ten power rankings

Iowa was off to a hot start in non-conference play and continued their strong resume in their last game getting a big win against in-state rival Iowa State. The same cannot be said for the Hawkeyes’ Big Ten conference start.

Iowa is 0-2 in the Big Ten so far with losses to Wisconsin and Michigan State. Now in the Hawkeyes’ defense, both are top-tier teams in the conference and ranked in the top 15 in the nation currently.

They look to continue their undefeated non-conference season as the next game is against Northern Iowa

Maryland is 8 points away from being undefeated this season, losing by 5 against Virginia and 2 to Purdue. That being said, the Terrapins’ non conference schedule has been less than impressive as their only major non conference opponent was Virginia which of course ended in a loss.

Maryland will have the next week off and then get ready to take on the Seton Hall Pirates next Saturday.
