Wisconsin suffered a tough loss to Marquette a couple of days ago but that should not take away from how good this team has been so far this season. The Badgers have had big wins over Iowa and Rutgers in conference play and are led by one of the best players in the country in Ethan Happ.

Wisconsin plays Savannah State next in a non-conference game.

A quick look at Purdue’s season and one could say that it has been disappointing so far, but I say different. Yes, Matt Painter and crew probably wish they could have won some more of their non conference games and played better against Michigan. But the Boilermakers can’t hold their heads down because their four losses have come to Texas, Michigan, Virginia Tech and Florida State.

None of those are bad losses and Purdue just needs to find a way to win a couple of those close games. Notre Dame is next up on the docket.
