Ohio State has only played one game since our previous rankings and that was against the Illinois Fighting Illini. The Buckeyes were able to come out with a 77-67 win though it wasn’t a thing of beauty as they trailed early in the second half.

Ohio State was able to pull out the win thanks to Keyshawn Woods who came in off the bench to run the point for the majority of the second half and also scored 18 points on 6/10 shooting. The graduate transfer from Wake Forest has been superb for the Buckeyes this season, putting up 8.2 points per game while providing senior leadership on both ends of the floor.

The Buckeyes start back up again on Saturday in a non-conference match up with Bucknell.

Indiana moves up on this list thanks to a great start in the Big Ten Conference with wins over Northwestern and Penn State, as well as a big non-conference win over Louisville. The Hoosiers have been led so far this season by Freshman Romeo Langford who is scoring 18.2 points per game.

Senior Juwan Morgan has also played well for them as he is scoring 15.5 points per game for Archie Miller’s squad. Indiana has a tough in-state match up with Butler coming up next.
