Defensive Player of the Year

Like everyone else I went with Nick Bosa. He was the reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and I thought he would earn it again.

On some level, you could argue he was the player of the year. It took roughly eight games for the defense to recover after losing him.

The Big Ten Media obviously thought so too. He was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten.

Dre’Mont Jones was the winner though. He finished with 40 tackles, eight-and-half sacks and one interception.

Now a look at which freshman made the biggest impact?
