Back in August I did my annual season prediction piece for the Ohio State football season. I was right on the money on some and missed on others.

When I made my predictions as to which players would make the biggest impact on the offensive side of the ball for Ohio State team I was correct. However, I never expected the kind of season one of them would have.

Offensive Player of the Year

I said the favorites would be Dwayne Haskins, J.K.Dobbins, Mike Weber and Parris Campbell and the sleeper was Johnnie Dixon.

I chose Haskins and predicted he would throw for over 3000 yards and 30 touchdowns easily making him the Buckeyes’ best offensive weapon, and potentially the best in the Big Ten.

He ended up having an epic year passing for 4580 yards and 47 touchdowns breaking many of Ohio State’s passing records along the way.

Haskins not only had the opportunity to live out his dream of playing quarterback for Ohio State, he made sure he cemented his name as a Buckeye legend by throwing for 396 yards and six touchdowns in the 62-39 rout over Michigan.

I am certain that he can eat for free in Columbus for the rest of his life.

Now a look at who would make the biggest impact on the other side of the ball.
