Ohio State Football: Picking against the spread week 11
I picked last week’s Ohio State football game wrong which should come as no surprise but it sure wasn’t the only game I missed on.
Last week I felt good about my picks against the spread but finished 2-6. My record this season now stands at 37-35-2.
Let’s see if I can do better this week. Point spreads are from Bovada.
Alabama (1) by 23 over Mississippi State: I am almost at the point if Alabama was favored by 50 over a ranked team I would lay the points. I’ll take the Tide and do just that this week.
Clemson (2) by 18 over Boston College: I am a Clemson believer but I don’t feel good about this game. I will take BC and the points.
Notre Dame (3) by 17 over Florida State: Florida State isn’t very good but I don’t like this spread. I’ll take the Seminoles and the points.
Michigan (4) by 39 over Rutgers: My gut says Michigan covers but 39 points is a lot to give so I’ll take Rutgers and the points.
Georgia (5) by 14 over Auburn: I don’t think this game will be close so I’ll take Georgia to cover.

Oklahoma (6) by 21 over Oklahoma State: Too many points for an in-state rivalry game so I’ll take Oklahoma State and the points.
LSU (7) by 13 over Arkansas: LSU is overrated but Arkansas stinks. I’ll Take the Tigers and lay the points.
Washington State (8) by 7 over Colorado: Am I missing something here? Shouldn’t Washington State be favored by 20? I’ll take the Cougars to cover.
West Virginia (9) by 14 over TCU: I will take the Mountaineers to cover simply because they are at home.
Ohio State (10) by 4.5 over Michigan State: I have missed on Ohio State football games five times in a row by picking them to cover. Not this week because I think this game will be decided by a field goal so I’ll take Michigan State and the points.
There you have it, my picks against the spread of games involving top ten teams. Let’s see if I can’t get back on the winning track this week.
