Q: Do you believe [Ohio State] will feel the pressure and rise to the challenge like they have in previous years? Will the Buckeyes fix the run game or will we see Haskins throw close to [seventy] times again sometime this year?

A: Ohio State has a coaching staff filled with former head coaches and elite coordinators as well as Urban Meyer. I do believe the Buckeyes figure out how to limit the big plays defensively and tighten up as they head into November. The staff and players alike possess too much talent and skill for nothing to happen.

As for the offense, Ohio State will be able to run the football in November and changes will be made accordingly whether it is sliding Michael Jordan back to guard if backup Center Brady Taylor is able to return or just blowing up the run game ad starting fresh.

The Buckeyes are lacking the ability to be balanced and keep the defense guessing. Right now, teams do not respect the run game and do not even need to load the box because their defensive front is able to get penetration through Ohio State’s offensive line.

Dwayne Haskins threw the football over seventy times against Purdue. For one, no Ohio State quarterback has thrown that many passes in a game. In fact, the next closest was Art Schlister who threw the ball fifty-two times. I do not believe Haskins or any other Ohio State quarterback for that matter will ever throw more than seventy times, or close to it, in a game again.
