Ohio State Football: NFL Buckeyes power rankings week 7
4. Denzel Ward
Last Week: 2
Week 6: 3 Tackles
Season: 19 Tackles | 9 Assists | 1 TFL | 3 INTs | 1 FF | 1 Blocked Kick | 3 Pass Breakups
Denzel Ward seems to do something that surprises me about every other week. Meaning that in the weeks in between he actually looks like a rookie out there.
The fact that he is falling in these rankings is because he does look like a rookie at times but that’s nothing to be ashamed about.
I’m sure Denzel will be back to making freak defensive plays to help the Browns next week.
3. Darron Lee
Last Week: 4
Week 6: 6 Tackles | 2 Assists | 1 INT | 1 Pass Defended
Season: 25 Tackles | 12 Assists | 2 TFL | 3 INTs | 1 TD | 4 Passes Defended
Let’s face it, Darron Lee is one of the best coverage linebackers that this league has to offer. He has 4 passes defended this season which is more than a lot of starting defensive backs. Lee also has 3 interceptions and one he took all the way for a touchdown.
Add 25 solo tackles and 2 tackles for losses and you have yourselves an amazing player.
