Ohio State Football: Buckeyes 3rd in AP Poll, should be No. 1
With the exciting win over Penn State in Happy Valley the Ohio State football team is now ranked No. 3 in the AP Poll. Why aren’t they No. 1?
This week’s AP Poll is out and Ohio State jumped Clemson to take over the No. 3 spot. I think the Buckeyes should be ranked No. 1.
While Ohio State’s 27-26 victory wasn’t a thing of beauty, it was a win over Penn State, the No. 9 ranked team at the time, in a hostile environment.
Ohio State also defeated TCU earlier this season in Dallas by 12 points. Neither No. 1 Alabama or No. 2 Georgia has faced stiff competition on the road like the Buckeyes have and all have 5-0 records.
Georgia has only played one ranked team on the road (South Carolina) and Alabama’s lone ranked opponent was Texas A&M at home.
Well, that’s my rant for today. Here is this week’s AP Poll.

Takes on the top 10 / 11:
I wonder why Clemson is ranked No. 4 after the Tigers had to come from behind to win and are now being led by a quarterback who was third team a week ago.
LSU is having a nice season but I’m not sure the Tigers are the 5th best team in the country.
Although I am not a Notre Dame fan, I think the Irish probably should be ranked in the top 5 after the convincing win over Stanford.
Penn State shouldn’t have dropped out of the top 10 after a 1 point loss to Ohio State.
Well there you have it, the AP top 25 week 6 and my takes. Now that conference play is heating up I’m sure there will be plenty of changes in the poll next week.
