Not only did the Ohio State football team cover the spread last week like I predicted, I was correct picking against the spread in all eight games.

The Ohio State football team will be facing TCU in Arlington, Texas in a big week three matchup. There are other important conference matchups involving top ten teams as well.

This will be my second week picking against the spread of teams ranked in the top ten in the AP Poll. I certainly got off to a great start last week picking all eight games correctly.

A guy in his right mind would just quit now. Well, since I’m not that kind of guy, here are my picks for week three.

Point spreads are from Bovada.

Alabama (1) by 23.5 over Mississippi: I don’t like this spread will Alabama having a young defense and facing a very good passing team on the road. I’ll take Mississippi and the points.

Clemson (2) by 32.5 over Georgia Southern: I thought Clemson would have a tough battle last week and they did. Not this week though as I expect them to cover the spread.

Georgia (3) by 33.5 over Middle Tennessee: Georgia should win by 50 so give the points.

Ohio State (4) by 14 over TCU (16): I can’t see TCU slowing down the Ohio State’s skill position players enough to keep this one close. Buckeyes will cover the spread for the third straight week.

Oklahoma (5) by 19 over Iowa State: I don’t like this spread mostly because Oklahoma is on the road. I’ll take Iowa State and the points..

Wisconsin (6) by 23 over BYU: Wisconsin is on a roll and at home so I’ll take the Badgers and give the points.

Auburn (7) by 10 over LSU (11): Tough SEC matchup and I think it will be a close one. I’ll take LSU and the points.

Notre Dame (8) by 13 over Vanderbilt: Irish will win by at least two touchdowns.

Penn State (10) by 36 over Kent State: Penn State will win easily but won’t cover the spread.

There is no line on Stanford (9) and UC Davis.

Next. 4th and short, questions following week 2. dark

There you have it, my picks against the spread for week three. Could I actually get every pick correct two weeks in a row?
