Ball State at Indiana

Is Ball State any good or did Notre Dame just have a major hangover after beating Michigan?

I am thinking the answer is somewhere in the middle.  The Cardinals nine starters on offense including Caleb Huntley who rushed for 1003 yards in 2017.

This will be a tricky game for Indiana.  Playing an in-state rival that has played well against them in the past and has nothing to lose.

The Hoosiers need to start fast and take away any hope the Cardinals have about pulling the upset.  I think they’ll struggle, but pull away in the fourth. Indiana wins 30-24.

Rutgers at Kansas

The next six games are winnable for Rutgers, but it all starts with taking care of business on the road at Kansas.

The Scarlet Knights were beat up by the Buckeyes.  Hopefully that will not linger into this game.

The Jayhawks broke their road losing streak last week beating Central Michigan.  They are a more experienced team this year, but Rutgers will wear them down in the second half.

Rutgers 31-17.

Temple at Maryland

A healthy Kasim Hill and Ty Johnson are paying off for the Terps.  They’ll lead Maryland to 3-0 by beating Temple.

The Owls are struggling to do the two things you must do in football, run the ball well and stop the run. Johnson goes for 150 and three touchdowns.  Terps 31-18.
