Indiana at FIU

The Hoosiers have very little room for error if it wants to make it back to bowl eligibility.  Losing running back Morgan Ellison to suspension does not help their chances against an FIU team that was competitive under Butch Davis in 2017.

Peyton Ramsey won the starting quarterback job for Indiana which is good. He has experience that will be needed on the road.

I think this will be a low-scoring defensive battle with the Hoosiers getting two late touchdowns to pull away.  Indiana 27-14.

Akron at Nebraska

Scott Frost’s debut comes in Primetime against Terry Bowden’s Akron Zips.  He should thank his AD.

Earlier this week, Frost announced that true freshman Adrian Martinez will start.  Smart move.  Get him quality playing time before Colorado and Troy in the upcoming weeks.

This will be an easy game for the Cornhuskers.  The Zips don’t have the talent make it competitive.  Nebraska 58-10.
