One of the best receivers in the entire 2018 class, Kamryn Babb possesses all of the skills to come in and contribute in his first year as a Buckeye. Babb has marvelous raw talent as he runs a 4.53 40-yard dash and has a vertical jump of 37.5″.

Babb doesn’t have great size at 6’1″ and 189 pounds, but he makes up for that lack of size with great athletic ability and skill. To say the least, if the ball is thrown in Kamryn Babb’s direction, he will have a great shot to come down with it.

Babb’s odds of playing next season mainly revolve around Johnnie Dixon and Terry McLaurin’s NFL decisions. The common belief remains that Dixon will declare and McLaurin will stay which puts Babb in a tough position.

If he wants to play next season he would need to beat out both CJ Saunders and Jaylen Harris, who are two guys that Ohio State Wide Receiver Coach, Zach Smith, believes in greatly. Babb definitely has the ability to beat out those guys, but he will need to be on top of his game and show the coaches a lot from the moment that he enrolls on campus.
