Miami vs. Clemson

TS  The U is back, or maybe not.  The loss to Pitt last week cooled the enthusiasm for the Hurricanes.

Can they rebound and pull off the upset?

I think they can.

Clemson might be the defending champs, but they are vulnerable.  The offense struggles to move the ball sometimes. Miami’s front will put pressure on Kelly Bryant and I think he’ll make a few errant throws.

Turnovers will decide this game and that favors the Hurricanes.  Miami wins 28-24.

CL  Man I hate this prediction because I haven’t liked Miami since Bernie Kosar played there and I have a ton of respect for Clemson and head coach Dabo Sweeney. Oh well, I have to be honest.

I called the Hurricanes overrated for the first two-thirds of the season and then they came on strong before their bad loss to Pittsburgh. I think that defeat may have been a wake up call that will actually help them.

I think Miami’s play-making ability will be on display against Clemson, and maybe they will now be a little more under control. I hope I’m wrong but I will predict a 31-27 win for Miami.
