This week I will be picking games involving CFP Top 10 teams.

Last Saturday’s games provided me with my third consecutive winning week picking against the spread of games involving AP Top 10 teams. I was 4-3-1 and called the TCU-Iowa State game as a potential upset, and it was. Now I will switch to games involving CFP Top 10 teams like I did last year.

My record for the season picking against the spread stands at 31-25-2. Not too bad, but last year when I switched over to the playoff rankings my winning percentage picked up. I hope it will again this season.

So let’s see how I do picking games involving CFP Top 10 teams this week. These are the lines provided by Bovada at the moment.

(1) Georgia by 23 over  South Carolina:  Will Georgia be hyped after being ranked No. 1 by the Playoff Committee or play down to South Carolina’s level? I think the Bulldogs roll and I’ll give the points.

(2) Alabama by 21 over LSU:  I can’t believe this spread. Is the SEC West Division so bad this year LSU would be a 21 point dog? I think the Tigers will keep it closer than that so I’ll take the points.

(3) Notre Dame by 15 over Wake Forest:  I wouldn’t sleep on Wake Forest so I’ll take the Demon Deacons and the points

(4) Clemson by 7.5 over NC State:  Upset alert, NC State and the points.

(5) Oklahoma 1.5 point underdog to Oklahoma State:  No upset here, I’ll take the Cowboys and give the points.

(6) Ohio State by 17.5 over Iowa:  Difficult call here. Iowa plays everyone tough, especially at home. I think Ohio State will pull away at some point though, so I’ll take the Buckeyes and lay the points.

(7) Penn State by 10 over Michigan St.:  I think this will be a hard-fought battle and a close game. I’ll take MSU and the points.

(8) TCU by 7 over Texas:  I don’t know what to make of this game. Guess I’ll have to believe TCU can bounce back and cover.

(9) Wisconsin by 14 over Indiana:  The Badgers have been letting me down lately so I don’t feel good about this pick. I’ll take Wisconsin and lay the points.

(10) Miami by 1 over Virginia Tech:  Virginia Tech ruins Miami’s undefeated season.

Next: No reason for No. 6 Buckeyes to lose at Iowa

There are my picks for week 10. Could I actually have a fourth consecutive winning week?
