Week 8 picks against the spread of games involving AP Top 10 teams.
My picks last week of games involving AP Top 10 teams weren’t too shabby. I was 4-2-1 and now have a winning record for the season at 22-20-1.
I am a little nervous with my picks this week as I am going against the favorites in most games. I even think there could be a couple of upsets again this week.
We’ll see how it goes with my picks against the spread of games involving AP Top 10 teams in week 8.

(1) Alabama by 36.5 over Tennessee: The Tide may win this by 50 so I’ll give the points.
(2) Penn State by 9.5 over Michigan: This will be a tight game and could even be an upset. I’ll take Michigan and the points.
(4) TCU by 39 over Kansas: It should be a blowout but the spread is too big. Kansas and the points.
(5) Wisconsin by 24.5 over Maryland: This should be an easy win for Wisconsin with Maryland down to their third string quarterback but I think I’ll take the Terrapins and the points.
(8) Miami by 17 over Syracuse: Miami is overrated and Syracuse is playing well so I will take the underdog and the points.
(9) Oklahoma by 14 over Kansas State: I like Oklahoma but not the spread on the road. I think Kansas State will keep it closer that two touchdowns.
(10) Oklahoma State by 7 over Texas: Upset alert and at the very least Texas keep the game closer than a touchdown.

There you have it, my picks against the spread for week 8. I picked the underdog and took the points in nearly every game. Not so sure how good my odds are to have a winning record this week.
