Ohio State Football: Roundtable and Predictions Week 2

Richard Lagow had a heyday. What will perennial senior Baker Mayfield do?
This game hinges on the defense not letting him doing anything by getting him on his back. Indiana was mostly successful by not letting the rushmen get near the quarterback by dumping the ball quick. Mayfield will seek to throw deeper and better have eyes in the back of his head to not get planted in the turf.

Buckeyes score three offensive touchdowns in the first half. One JT toss, one JT run, and one Mike Weber run (yeah don’t forget about him). Unfortunately, we can’t shake the Sooners and lead 21-17.
Game goes back and forth and the second half with the Sooners leading much of the time. However, the Buckeyes get a three and out late in the 4th thanks to two sacks by Bosa and Lewis that push the Sooners deep. Buckeyes pick-up good field position and go ahead for good on an 8 play drive.
Really, I fear this game is a toss-up, not the seven point spread that Vegas has going. However, road/conference game experience matters. Buckeyes win 38-34.
