Michigan’s defense was exposed last week, albeit for about a quarter. Colorado did not have the athletes to sustain its first quarter production, but the Buffaloes did provide a glimpse into hanging with the Wolverines.
McSorley already faced a stingy defense when it played Pitt two weeks ago. It took a while for him to get going, but he moved the ball pretty well in the second half. The same is needed to keep pace with the Wolverines in the Big House.
Speight has been consistently good in all three games while passing for 686 yards and eight touchdowns. Look for him to continue spreading the ball around to a mix of receivers keeping the Nittany Lions off-balance.

In the end, the Nittany Lions need McSorley and Barkley to play perfect games. This seems unlikely. They keep it close for the first half, but the Wolverines pull away for 37-17 win.
