All-Decade Ohio State Football Dream Team (2005-2015)
By Billy George
Punt/Kick Returner: Tedd Ginn Jr.
To this day, Ted Ginn Jr. is the most exciting Ohio State football player I’ve had the privilege to watch dazzle packed houses at the Horse Shoe. Whether he was on the receiving end of a pass, carrying the ball out of the backfield or returning punts or kickoffs, he was a legitimate threat to take it to the house on any given play.
Having a total of eight career touchdowns on special teams, Ginn averaged 18.7 per touch when averaging kick returns and punt returns combined, 14.1 yards per punt return, and 26.6 yards per kick return. Ginn had 1,912 yards when totaling kick and punt returns combined.
