Michael Thomas, WR- 47th Pick in the 2nd Round to New Orleans: The value is correct, but the team was surprising. The Saints need so much help on their atrocious defense, and having an adequate receiving core choosing Thomas seemed unnecessary.

The idea behind the pick was to replace Marques Colston, but Thomas will have to work his way up from behind Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead. Thomas has the possession traits that should allow him to make an impact in the NFL sooner rather than later. His size will be a welcome addition, due to the small stature of the other Saints receivers.
