Buckeyes Preparing For Familiar Setting

While the amount of uncertainty that surrounds this upcoming season is not ideal, it is comforting to know that this is not new territory to Urban Meyer and his staff. All of the talent that departed this offseason will be replaced with comparable talent.

The biggest question is how soon that talent is able to come together and gel, nine units strong.
With all of the similarities between the 2014 season and this upcoming one, the biggest difference will be the biggest reason for optimism: there will be absolutely no drama surrounding the quarterback position. J.T Barrett is healthy and will enter the season as an early Heisman candidate. His leadership will be invaluable for a team trying to find its way early on.

After a 2015 season that was all about trying to meet suffocating expectations, the Buckeyes are hungry again to prove something. Add that to the deep list of things that link this team to 2014. We can only hope that the results on the field this year solidify the connection.
