Since last Friday, Ryan Day has landed a top corner in his 2020 Ohio State recruiting class and received commitments from 2 key players in 2021.

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day is on a roll on the recruiting trail. Today he landed an outstanding offensive tackle in his 2021 recruiting class.

This, following a weekend when Clark Phillips, the No. 4 corner in the 2020 class, and Jayden Ballard, a four-star wide receiver in the ‘21 class, committed to play for the Buckeyes. It’s been quite a stretch for the Buckeye head coach.

Let’s look at the newest commit.

Ben Christman is from Richfield, Ohio and is listed at 6 ft. 6, 299 pounds. He is rated the 9th best tackle in the country and the No. 44 player overall.

Don’t you think Kyle McCord, the No. 5 ranked quarterback in the 2021 recruiting class, is glad to have Christman in the fold?

With Christman joining Ballard in the ‘21 class it is now ranked as the 3rd best in the country.

Phillip’s commitment pushed the 2020 recruiting class to No. 5.

Here is a look at the players in the two classes.

Next. Buckeyes look to add 5-Star RB to 2020 class. dark

I don’t think Buckeye fans will have to worry whether or not talented players will be coming to Columbus to play for the Buckeyes any time soon. With the way things are looking at the moment, I think Ryan Day picked up right where Urban Meyer left off.
