The Ohio State football team is fresh off their final bye week of the season. They got this one after losing their only game of the season so far. After falling 32-31 to Oregon and giving up almost 500 yards of offense, they needed the bye week to fix some things on the defensive side of the ball.

Now, the Buckeyes have Nebraska this week. The Cornhuskers come into this game with a 5-2 record so far this year. Last week, they got absolutely smoked by the Indiana Hoosiers, losing 56-7. They looked like a team that is lost on both sides of the ball.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are out for blood. After the loss to Oregon, they are an angry football team. They know they should have won that game and they want to show that they are still one of the best teams in the country. They are looking to make a statement in this game.

What the Ohio State football team can expect from Nebraska

So what can the Buckeyes expect from Nebraska? Not a lot of resistance defensively. Nebraska just gave up 56 points to the Hoosiers, who are a good offense. Ohio State's is better. The Buckeyes shouldn't have any issues moving the ball up and down the field. Will Howard could have another 300+ yard passing game.

Defensively, the Buckeyes should play much better against an offense that has issues completing drives. The Cornhuskers have scored just 21 points combined in the last two games against both Big Ten teams from the state of Indiana. Scoring just 14 points against Purdue is embarassing.

Dylan Raiola, the starting quarterback for the Cornhuskers, was a one-time Buckeye commit. Fans are going to go at him the entire game. I'm not sure he's ready for an environment like this. Ohio State should be able to cruise in this game. If they don't, there will be some serious questions asked.
