3. The Ohio State football team will accumulate 375+ yards
Despite how poorly the Buckeye offense played against TTUN, they have mostly been able to do what they've wanted to offensively this season. Yes, the offensive line will be an issue. But Ohio State will be ready to get rid of the ball quickly to avoid too many issues with that.
Will Howard is likely to throw a lot of slants and quick hook routes. That will get the Vols to start playing up on the receivers. Once that happens, that opens things up for them to take a deep shot. Howard has had some issues hitting receivers on deep routes, but they seem to have corrected his footwork issues.
While the Buckeyes didn't run the ball well against TTUN, they will try to get outside the tackles against Tennessee to make that happen better. I expect more creative play-calling as well. Add all of that in, and Ohio State should have a good offensive output in this game.
I think Ohio State is able to accumulate over 375 total yards in this game. The passing game is going to be a big part of that. It wouldn't shock me if Howard threw for over 300 yards. They are going to want to use him as much as possible after what happened against TTUN.
Ohio State only has issues when it comes to TTUN offensively. The offense brings it against everyone else. I expect that to hold true this weekend as well. If Ohio State can do all three of these things, they should be able to win the game and move on to face Oregon in the Rose Bowl.
