2. The Ohio State football team will force three turnovers
Nico Iamaleava is a freshman quarterback playing in one of the coldest games he's ever played. It certainly will be the coldest game that he's played since he's been at Tennessee. That, plus the environment of the Shoe, will make it extremely difficult for him to play well in this game,.
All of that doesn't even take into account Ohio State's defense. The Buckeyes have been excellent on defense since getting torched by Oregon. They are the best defense in the country. They are first in points allowed and total yards allowed, so moving the ball will be tough.
Because of that, I think Iamaleava will be forced to do a lot of things he's not comfortable with. He is going to have to force some throws, especially if Tennessee gets behind. He also has been sacked more than people think, so Ohio State's linebackers should be able to get some sacks on some blitzes.
I think the Volunteers will turn the ball over three times in this game. I could see Ohio State getting two interceptions and a forced fumble on Iamaleava. If that were to happen, Ohio State would have a ton of momentum from the crowd too. It could turn into an avalanche.
The final bold prediction for this game has to deal with how many yards the Buckeyes will accumulate on offense.
