The Ohio State football program has the best receiver in the country. No one will debate that Jeremiah Smith isn't the top receiver in college football, even though he's just a true sophomore. He is too good to be stopped, and he showed that in the CFP run last year.
Smith isn't the only good receiver the Buckeyes have on the roster for this season. Carnell Tate, Brandon Inniss, and Mylan Graham are all former four and five-star recruits. They will also be explosive this season. Ohio State also has a former five-star recruit who will likely be the starter at quarterback.
Despite all of this talent, the Buckeyes are not rated by EA Sports as their top offense in College Football 26. In fact, they aren't even the second-best offense. The Ohio State Buckeyes have to settle for having the third-highest rated offense in the new game.

While Ohio State shares an overall ranking on offense of 91 with Penn State and Texas, they are officially below both of them in the game.

Despite Texas being rated as the top offense in the country this season, they were only able to muster 14 points against the Buckeyes in the Cotton Bowl last year. Now, they have a new starting quarterback and are without their top receiver from a year ago.
Penn State had similar troubles scoring against the Buckeyes last season, failing to score an offensive touchdown. They had just six offensive points, and their only touchdown was an early pick-six thrown by Will Howard. Somehow, both teams are rated higher than Ohio State.
The Buckeyes are expected to have a potent offense again this year with Julian Sayin manning the controls. It wouldn't be surprising if they were somehow better on offense despite adding two new running backs and a new starting quarterback.
