The Ohio State football team continues to look like the best team in the country. They continue to dominate games, and they did so again against Illinois. They won that game 34-16 in a game that they let up at the end and let the Illini get some points when they probably shouldn't have.

This week, the Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the Wisconsin Badgers, a team that might be the worst in the Big Ten. They are 0-3 in the conference and are coming off a 37-0 loss to Iowa. They look rudderless and might be looking to make changes relatively soon.

Former Buckeye player and coach Luke Fickell is the head coach of the Badgers, and he is looking for answers. If he isn't able to turn things around, he could get canned. If the Buckeyes blow the Badgers out this week, he could be the third coach in the Big Ten to be fired this year.

Even though this game will be in Madison, these two teams aren't close when it comes to the talent on paper. The Buckeyes could end up crushing them, as they are over three touchdown favorites right now. Another embarrassing loss might be the final straw for Barry Alvarez.

If Wisconsin looks like they have quite on Fickell this weekend, they might decide to part ways. It already looks like that's the way it's headed, but the Badgers could end up getting a bit of a head start on the hiring cycle if they relieve him of his duties now. That's especially true with both Penn State and UCLA looking for coaches.

The Buckeyes are not going to go easy on Fickell just because he's a former player and coach. They are going to keep pushing the offense to improve, and the defense has been suffocating all year. This could be a nightmare scenario for Fickell this weekend.
